Addison made her first trip outside of Phoenix. It was a rocky start with the first airplane ride but we finally made it to Baker. Addison made sure to entertain us all the way to Baker with practicing her different levels of pitch and some new vocabulary. I think silence must make her feel uncomfortable.
Addison had such a great trip. She started her week off by being entertained by McKenzie and Morgan Hall. McKenzie thought Addison was pretty cool. Later in the week Addison had a very exciting trip to the Cabin (well she slept most of the time but while she was up she couldn't stop turning her head to see everything around her.) She is quite the outdoors men. She loved the river that ran right in front of the cabin (I think that must be what helped her sleep her day away too bad it didn't help her sleep in.) When we returned from the cabin Addison had a great surprise...a visit from Grandma Mary and Grandpa Stroud. She was quite busy showing off her raspberry making skills. Unfortunately her Aunt Amanda and Uncle Mike were unable to make it due to prior obligations. Hopefully we can see them soon.
Addison was finally able to meet up with Paige Marlia during the Baker City Miner's Jubilee Parade, but I think the floats took their attention more than looking at each other. Hopefully they get to interact with each more next year.
I would just like to thank everyone that let us borrower their strollers and pack-n-plays during our visit. It was so nice not to have to worry about getting those items to Baker along with taking a baby on a plane. Again thank you so much!
