We had a couple of first this week. Addison has been sleeping in her crib since Tuesday. I thought it was going to be very difficult for me to have her so far away but I think we have both adjusted. I actually think that her dad's snoring sometimes soothed her...it must remind her of a machine. The picture of her in her crib also shows a little stuffed pig that she got from her Aunt Amanda. She can't wait until she fits into her little pig outfit that she also received. I have been reading a sleeping book in hopes that one day she will sleep longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time. So far the book states that there is nothing one can do until the infant is at least 6 weeks old. I guess we have a couple of more weeks.
The other picture was the first true interaction between the girls. Emma was trying to paw Addison's head. I think she was going for a "love pat." Emma and Shadow still don't know what is going on and they really do not appreciate it when she screams at night. They just look at me with the expression of do something. I think Emma really appreciates that Addison is in her own room.
